I officially declare this, and every Thursday from here until the end of time, Thrifted Thursday! (Although, let's be honest, every day of my life is a thrifted day--it's just that Thrifted Monday doesn't have quite the same ring to it.)
I'll celebrate Thrifted Thursday each week by posting something thrifting related, and this week it's an entirely-thrifted outfit of the day.
The dress is 1960s vintage and was bought on eBay for under $20. It was actually destined for the Etsy shop but I looked at it this morning and realized it might just be my size...Bingo! It's a super simple bold pink sheath dress, but the cutout detailing gives it a little something extra that I just love. It could easily be worn with ballet flats and a little cardigan for a sweet and simple look, but, since I'm neither sweet nor simple, I opted to go a bit more rock and roll by pairing it with some faux black leather.
I've had this black fringe purse for forever--I'm not a handbag gal so I have maybe three that I really like and switch back and forth between, and this is one of them. Lots of mileage considering that it was $6 from Savers (also called Value Village)!
Black leather cage heels are Madden Girl and were a whopping $8, also from Savers Thrift. That place and I go waaaay back.
Three awesome pieces for $32! Get out and thrift! Or, spend those 32 dollars on one of our awesome custom clothing boxes--2-3 hand-picked pieces for only $35!
